Here are a number of drawings uncovered as I was going through some boxes of papers. These are all from 1991 or so. The first one is two pages long about a talking toilet. There are also some Lookout Records fanzine ads, sticker art I created for my band Bumblescrump and other comic attempts.
Here are two designs I created for the excellent band (and not just because they asked me to make some art for them), Limbeck. The first is a t-shirt design, the second is a tour poster and utilizes a drawing by Jesse Michaels as part of an image that we originally worked on as a potential t-shirt design as well.
I used to publish a poetry "collection" once a year for a few years in the early 1990s. Here is a reprint of my second volume, an 8 page photocopied booklet entitled "We've Arrived On The Breeze" from 1994. I am not sure if these are (or ever were) as funny or entertaining as I imagined while I creating them but they were inspired by the hippy who taught poetry in my middle school, Dan The Poet. When each book was completed, I'd send out a few dozen copies to friends. These scans might be hard to read so click on the image to have it open enlarged in another window. Hopefully I can find the other ones to scan and post here.
These were originally paired with quotes from famous authors and other notables. The one with the reading soldier was something about how poetry is more memorable or powerful than war. All the original quotes are lost, sadly (meaning I can't find them).
