Cosmic Boat Chapter 2 Progress
Here are two finished pages - minus dialog and "sound" effects - from the next chapter of my space opera comic strip, Cosmic Boat, soon to appear in the next issue of MOUTH Magazine. I've been working hard to make sure it actually makes sense and the interesting ideas I have for the series are apparent to anyone that might read it.

Colossal Yes "Prenez le OUI Express"
This is a new drawing I took a long time making for Colossal Yes. I think it will be for a button design and maybe appear on some other items. The text is French for "Ride the Yes Express."

"Cosmic Boat" Chapter 2 Roughs
Here are a few drawings, in pencil and ink, of backgrounds - mostly - from the second chapter of my comic "Cosmic Boat," which I am working on right now. The first chapter can be found in MOUTH Magazine, issue #0.

MOUTH Magazine Issue #0
So it's only 24 pages long but I am pretty excited to present the inaugural issue of MOUTH Magazine, published, drawn, written and edited by Jesse Michaels, Andy Asp, Frankie Koeller and myself. MOUTH is inspired by comic humor mags from the 1950's and photo-copied punk zines. It's got bad comedy, weird comics, recipes, crossword puzzles and recipes. I posted the cover art a few months back but here is a link to download our premiere issue. A limited print-run will be ready in about two weeks and I'll post details on how to get one soon.

"Cosmic Boat" progress
This is the finished first page of my comic series "Cosmic Boat." The first chapter is five pages long and will appear in the overdue first issue of MOUTH Magazine (very soon, I promise). "Cosmic Boat" is the story of how the crew of the last Earth space battleship discovers a mysterious and powerful ancient alien ship which they use to defeat a terrifying fleet of ships from the planet Deram, dedicated to Earth's destruction.
