Here are two finished pages - minus dialog and "sound" effects - from the next chapter of my space opera comic strip, Cosmic Boat, soon to appear in the next issue of MOUTH Magazine. I've been working hard to make sure it actually makes sense and the interesting ideas I have for the series are apparent to anyone that might read it.

These are awesome! What kind of pens do you use? I ask because I surprised myself by using ballpoints for a lot of my drawings. (something I never really expected)

I like to use a Sakura micron pen, the finer the tip the better. I can get a little crazy trying to refine my lines and somehow a finer tipped pen helps.
I like ballpoints too actually but if I am adding lots of texture - a good technique for me if I don't feel like the image is strong enough - it can get too muddy looking.
